About the Role
We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documents
- Manage contracts and procurement of materials
- Measure and value work done for payment
- Monitor project costs and advise on savings
- Assess and negotiate variations and claims
- Prepare final accounts and cost reports
Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or related field
- 5+ years commercial experience in construction
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of cost estimation software
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Membership in a relevant professional body preferred
